We want to encourage creators to come support each other and give if they can without burdening those already impacted.
• We’re excited to contribute the first $10,000
• In addition, we will add $1 for every attendee so your mere presence helps your fellow creators
• It’s completely free to participate but we encourage you to donate as well if you can
Donations made during the Weird Stream-a-thon will go directly into the our new grant program, What the Fund. We're putting together a diverse committee of creators to review applications and pick the recipients of these funds. Stay tuned for more details soon.
In the meantime, if you’re a creator facing extreme financial hardship, you can apply to be a grant recipient here.
We're not sure. We're kind of making this up as we go, but it's going to be weird for sure.
The event will be hosted by Jack Conte, Patreon co-founder and creator. We’ll have conversations with artists and experts, performances, some fun surprises and a whole lotta community collaboration.
It’s free to watch and participate from anywhere in the world, and those who can afford it can join us in donating to the artists & communities most impacted.
We hope to take a shitty situation and turn it into something meaningful, impactful, and fun.
